  • FFX-2 Elemental System: FFX-2 features six distinct elements: Fire, Ice, Lightning, Water, Gravity, and Holy. Use the Scan ability to identify enemy weaknesses, strengths, immunities, and absorptions. Many skills target the first four elements, while Warrior's Demi Sword and Excalibur can hit all six. Most bosses are immune to Gravity, preventing the use of Demi.
  • FFX-2 Garment Grid Strategy: Pay attention to the Garment Grids you acquire. Utilize Grids that nullify status effects or absorb elements. For difficult bosses, equip Grids that boost DEF/MDEF or absorb elemental attacks for healing.
  • FFX-2 Episode Complete Conditions:
    • Bevelle/Mushroom Rock Road: Defeat Lucil and the Youth League Warriors. Speak to Lucil at Youth League Headquarters Observation Deck for 'Nooj's Sphere'. Watch 'Deathseeker' on the airship. Speak with Maroda at the Temple Entrance. Obtain Crimson Sphere 6 at Cloister 0 and Crimson Sphere 8 at Cloister 20 in Via Infinito. Watch 'Crimson Record 6' and 'Crimson Record 8' on the airship. After obtaining all Crimson Spheres, open the sealed door in the Den of Woe and defeat the bosses. Defeat Trema in Cloister ∞.
    • Thunder Plains: Complete the mission to rescue Cid in the Secret Cave and defeat the boss. After Episode Complete, speak with Cid on the deck, then return to the bridge to view Cid's Tirade.
  • FFX-2 Item Locations:
    • Machina Booster: Found beside the elevator to Youth League HQ.
    • Scourgebane GG: Given with the Bevelle Episode Complete.
    • Drill Shot BB: Can be learned from Baralai (last chance).
    • Valiant Lustre: Obtained from defeating Humbaba.
    • Corpus Invictus: Found in the Secret Cave.
    • Salvation Promised GG: Obtained by completing the Secret Cave.
    • Force of Nature ACC: Obtained by completing the Secret Cave twice.
    • Nature's Lore: Found in the Secret Cave.
  • FFX-2 Ronso & Kimahri Interaction (Chapter 3):
    • One Ronso is in the Mountain Cave near the teleporter.
    • Speak to Kimahri and reply with, "You have to learn to deal with these things!" to get the Trainer Dressphere.
    • Speaking to the Ronso will make a Chapter 3 boss fight easier.
