This guide focuses on obtaining every Key Item, Gold Accessory, Blue Bullet, Garment Grid, and Dress Sphere for a perfect file in a single playthrough of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster. Important and missable items are highlighted throughout.

  • Dresspheres:
    • Festivalist DS: Obtained in FFX-2 by speaking to Brother a second time on the Airship (International/HD Only).
    • Psychic DS: Obtained in FFX-2 by completing the Standard Cup in the Fiend Arena (International/HD Only).
    • Trainer Dressphere: Obtained in FFX-2 by speaking to Kimahri in Chapter 3 after speaking to the Ronso in the Mountain Cave and choosing the correct dialogue option.
    • The White Mage DS: Obtained in FFX-2 after defeating Flame Dragon.
  • Garment Grids:
    • Vanguard GG: Obtained in FFX-2 by asking Shinra about a Garment Grid Tutorial on the Airship.
    • Intrepid GG: Obtained in FFX-2 by completing the Standard Cup in the Fiend Arena three times (International/HD Only).
    • Stonehewn Garment Grid: Obtained in FFX-2 after defeating Ormi on Mt. Gagazet.
    • Undying Storm GG: Obtained in FFX-2 on the Mi'ihen Highroad by beating at least 7 machina.
    • Raging Giant GG: Can be found in FFX-2, but requires obtaining the Besaid Key. Do not speak to the merchant about "rare finds" if you wish to purchase the Besaid Key; it can be obtained for free later in Chapter 3: Calm Lands.
  • Blue Bullets (Ronso Rages):
    • Seed Cannon: Learned by Kimahri in FFX from a Ragora in the Woods using Lancet. Also learnable by Rikku in FFX-2 from a Cephalotus on the Mi'ihen Highroad.
    • Blaster: Learnable in FFX-2 from a Coeurl.
    • White Wind: Learnable in FFX-2 from a Coeurl.
  • Key Items & Accessories:
    • Al Bhed Primers: Three can be obtained from Brother on the Airship in FFX-2. Another can be obtained by talking to Buddy before Brother's broadcast on the Airship.
    • X-Potion: Dropped by Ormi on Mt. Gagazet in FFX-2.
    • Elixir: Rare item dropped by Ormi on Mt. Gagazet in FFX-2, or can be stolen from him.
    • Beaded Brooch: Dropped by Ormi on Mt. Gagazet in FFX-2.
    • Besaid Sphere: Obtained in FFX-2 by speaking to Wakka after defeating Flame Dragon.
    • Protection Halo GG: Obtained in FFX-2 by speaking to Wakka after defeating Flame Dragon.
  • Other Items:
    • Hi-Potion: Found in a dark part of a cave on Mt. Gagazet in FFX-2.
    • Ether: Found in the Engine Room of the Airship and two on the North end of the Oldroad on the Mi'ihen Highroad in FFX-2.
