Zanarkand Ruins Investigation
The Zanarkand Ruins hold significant narrative and gameplay elements across both Final Fantasy X and X-2. Originally Tidus's home city, it was destroyed by Sin one thousand years prior to the events of FFX, leading to Tidus's mysterious arrival in Spira. In FFX-2, the ruins become a key location for various missions and item discoveries, offering valuable rewards and insights into Spira's past.
In FFX-2, the Zanarkand Ruins are a recurring location for missions and item collection. Enemies encountered here include Mr. Goon, Ms. Goon, Flak Python, Nashorn, White Elemental, Behemoth, and Gecko. Ms. Goon can teach the Blue Bullet ability White Wind.
- Chapter 1:
- Inside The Dome, speak to Cid and choose "You Bet I Do!" to complete a mission.
- A Mega Phoenix can be found near where Seymour's illusion was in FFX.
- An Ether and an Elixir are located in the Chamber of the Fayth.
- Answering "Is that you Issaru?" will gain you the Heart Reborn Garment Grid.
- Chapter 2:
- Within The Dome, speak to Isaaru.
- Earn Mission Complete before Chapter 3 ends. The reward is a Soul of Thamasa Accessory.
- Two Ethers and two Elixirs can be found in the room past the Chamber of the Fayth.
- Chapter 3:
- Complete "Operation Monkey!" before Chapter 3 ends.
- In The Dome, speak to Isaaru.
- Storm Cannon BB can be learned from Ironside.
- Three Ethers can be found in the chamber after the Chamber of the Fayth.
- Chapter 5:
- Speak to Isaaru at Zanarkand Ruins via the CommSphere on the Airship (3).
- Speak to Maechen and agree to listen about Vegnagun to complete the episode.
