- Obtain Minerva's Plate if the Chapter 1 Moonflow quest was completed without speaking to Tobli.

- Mission Complete.
- Learn Heaven's Cataract BB from Kukulcan.
- Obtain Ribbon by solving the underground puzzle (consult a guide).
- Find the Downtrodder GG in a chest before the Gaol.

- An Al Bhed Primer is obtained by defeating Experiment.
- Magical Dances, Vol II is obtained by getting Episode Complete.
- Annihilator BB can be learned from Experiment when its Special Level is 5.
- Bikanel Desert:
- The Desert Key is found in the Central Expanse and opens a locked chest containing the Horn of Plenty GG.
- Dig up at minimum 7 Al Bhed Primers.
- 1000 Needles BB can be learned from Cactuar.
- Challenge and beat Frailea to get the Covenant of Growth GG.
- Mercurial Strike GG and Ribbon are awarded for beating Angra Mainyu.
- Mega Phoenix and Megalixir can be found in the hallway with the rising quicksand.
- Steal a Megalixir from Angra Mainyu.
