Upon arriving in the Archylte Steppe, you'll be overwhelmed by its sheer size and the number of powerful enemies. Don't rush into every fight; some enemies, like the Adamantoise, are far too strong at this point. Focus on engaging enemies that are manageable, such as the Gorgonops and Pulsework Golems, to earn CP and Gil. This is the best place to grind for character development. Look for Cie'th Stones scattered across the Steppe; interacting with them will unlock optional missions. These missions offer excellent rewards, including powerful accessories and large amounts of CP. Take your time to explore every nook and cranny, as there are many hidden treasure spheres containing valuable components and items. Familiarize yourself with the terrain, as you'll be returning here often.
