Maximizing Stagger and damage output is the key to success in Final Fantasy XIII. To build Stagger quickly, use a Paradigm with multiple Ravagers (e.g., Relentless Assault). Ravagers chain attacks rapidly, filling the Stagger Gauge. Use Saboteurs to inflict Imperil, Deprotect, and Deshell, which significantly increase the rate at which the gauge fills and the damage dealt once staggered. Once an enemy is staggered, immediately switch to a Commando-heavy Paradigm (e.g., Cerberus) to unleash maximum damage. Commandos also prevent the Stagger Gauge from depleting. Synergists should apply Bravery and Faith to your damage dealers before and during the Stagger phase. Equipping accessories that boost Strength/Magic, critical hit rate, or Stagger duration can further enhance your damage potential. Understanding enemy weaknesses and exploiting them with elemental spells is also vital.
