These currents are often found in scenic or hard-to-reach locations, encouraging players to explore every nook and cranny of the map. An Aether Compass can be obtained to help pinpoint their general vicinity, making the search more manageable.

Each expansion introduces new zones, and each of these zones has its own set of Aether Currents that must be attuned. For example, in the Endwalker expansion, find currents in regions like Labyrinthos, Thavnair, Garlemald, Mare Lamentorum, Elpis, and Ultima Thule.
