Raiding Content

Raiding is a cornerstone of the FFXIV end-game, offering the most difficult PvE challenges and the most powerful gear.

  • Normal Raids: These are 24-player alliance raids that are generally more accessible and story-driven. They offer good gear for players progressing through the story and are a great introduction to raid mechanics. Examples include The Orbonne Monastery and The Copied Factory.
  • Savage Raids: These are 8-player raids that are sificantly more difficult than Normal Raids. They feature complex mechanics, demanding rotations, and require precise coordination. Savage raids are the primary source of the highest item level gear for combat jobs. They are released in tiers, with new tiers typically arriving every few months.
  • Ultimate Raids: These are the pinnacle of FFXIV's PvE content. Ultimate raids are extremely challenging 8-player encounters that require near-perfect execution and deep understanding of mechanics. They are desed to be a sificant test of skill and perseverance, offering unique weapon appearances and titles as rewards.
