Apartments are more affordable and accessible, requiring only gil and a level 50 character with a Grand Company affiliation. Houses, on the other hand, come in various sizes (small, medium, and large) and are purchased from the housing board in each ward. Owning a house requires sificant gil and often involves a lottery system due to high demand.

Once you've acquired a plot or an apartment, the customization begins. The housing system offers an extensive catalog of furniture and decorative items, ranging from functional pieces like beds and crafting tables to purely aesthetic items like paintings, plants, and even aquariums. Items can be crafted by Disciples of the Hand, purchased from vendors, or acquired through various in-game activities. The placement and arrangement of these items are entirely up to you, allowing for endless creative expression.

Acquiring Housing:

  1. Apartments: Purchase from the Housing Reagent NPC in any apartment building for 500,000 gil. Requires level 50 and a Grand Company.
  2. Houses: Available in housing districts (e.g., Lavender Beds, The Goblet, Mist, Shirogane). Purchase from the housing board. Plots are often subject to a lottery system.
