Ifrit is one of the first Primals you'll face in A Realm Reborn. His fight is a good introduction to basic trial mechanics.
Key Mechanics:
- Vulcan Burst: A large AoE knockback. Tanks should position Ifrit away from the party.
- Incinerate: A frontal cone attack.
- Eruption: Targeted AoE circles on players. Move out of them quickly.
- Infernal Fetters: Ifrit summons 'Infernal Nails'. These must be destroyed quickly by DPS before Ifrit casts 'Hellfire'. If the nails are not destroyed, Hellfire will wipe the party.
Strategy: Tanks keep aggro and position Ifrit. Healers keep the party alive and cleanse debuffs. DPS focus on destroying the Infernal Nails as soon as they appear. Avoid all AoE markers.
Rewards: Experience, Ifrit's weapons, and story progression.
