Every job in FFXIV has its own unique questline that provides lore, new abilities, and often a unique piece of gear. These quests are crucial for unlocking your job's full potential. Additionally, from Shadowbringers onwards, 'Role Quests' replace traditional job quests for story progression, offering a shared narrative for each role (Tank, Healer, Melee DPS, Ranged Physical DPS, Ranged Magical DPS).
Job Quests:
- Available every 5 levels (e.g., 30, 35, 40, etc.) up to level 70.
- Indicated by a blue quest icon with a '+'.
- Unlock new abilities and provide unique gear.
Role Quests (Shadowbringers onwards):
- Available at various levels (70, 72, 74, 76, 78, 80).
- Complete one role questline to progress the MSQ in Shadowbringers and Endwalker.
- Offer unique story content for each role.
