Defeated 1000 Enemies
The "Defeated 1000 Enemies" achievement in Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest is a straightforward yet significant milestone that reflects a player's consistent engagement with combat throughout their playthrough. This achievement is earned simply by accumulating a total of 1,000 enemy eliminations across all battles, including story chapters, optional skirmishes, and paralogue missions. It encourages players to actively participate in combat and utilize their units effectively to overcome the numerous threats presented in the Nohr campaign.
To efficiently reach this target, embrace every combat opportunity presented. The main story chapters themselves will contribute a substantial number of enemy defeats, especially those with higher enemy counts or multiple waves of reinforcements. However, to accelerate the process, engaging in optional Skirmishes is highly recommended. These battles, which appear randomly on the world map, offer a repeatable source of experience and enemy eliminations. Each Skirmish typically features a handful of enemies, and completing them regularly can significantly boost your total kill count. Furthermore, paralogue missions, while often more challenging, also provide a good number of enemies to defeat and can be replayed if necessary, though they do not respawn in the same way as Skirmishes.
Strategic unit deployment and effective combat tactics will not only help in defeating enemies but also in doing so efficiently, allowing for more battles to be completed within a given playtime. Units with high offensive stats and abilities like "Lunge" or "Rally Strength" can quickly dispatch multiple foes. Utilizing the "Pair Up" mechanic, where two units combine into one, allows for more concentrated attacks and can lead to faster enemy clearing. For example, pairing a strong offensive unit like Camilla with a supportive unit like Elise can create a powerful duo capable of taking down several enemies per turn. Keeping track of enemy types and their weaknesses, such as using a Lance-wielding unit against a Sword-wielding enemy, will also ensure quicker victories and thus more opportunities to defeat enemies. Even seemingly minor encounters, like defeating a single Bandit in a low-level Skirmish, contribute to the overall goal, so no enemy defeat should be underestimated.
