Camilla, the second eldest princess of Nohr and a devoted older sister to Corrin, is a powerful and iconic unit in Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest. She joins the player's army early on and serves as a fierce protector and a formidable combatant. Camilla's base class is the Malig Knight, a dark and powerful flying class that wields both tomes and axes. This unique combination allows her to engage enemies at range with potent magic attacks or up close with devastating physical blows. As a Malig Knight, she possesses strong magical offense and decent physical offense, coupled with good movement thanks to her flight capabilities. Her personal skill, Amaterasu, heals all adjacent allies for 20% of their maximum HP at the start of You phase, making her an invaluable support unit who can sustain her allies during prolonged engagements. This healing effect is particularly potent when Camilla is positioned strategically near multiple allies.
Camilla's growth rates are generally high in Magic, Strength, and Speed, allowing her to be a potent offensive threat capable of doubling many enemies and dealing significant damage with both her tomes and axes. Her Defense is typically moderate, and her Resistance is often lower, meaning she can be vulnerable to concentrated physical attacks or strong magical assaults if not positioned carefully. You can further develop Camilla through class seals. Upon reaching level 10 as a Malig Knight, she can promote to a Dark Flier, retaining her tome and flight capabilities but gaining access to lances instead of axes, offering a different combat style. Alternatively, she can re-class to a Wyvern Rider (with a Heart Seal or Second Seal), which focuses more on physical offense and defense with axes and lances, sacrificing her magical prowess but gaining increased durability. Her support options are also extensive, allowing her to build strong bonds with various characters, which in turn provide valuable stat bonuses when paired up.
