Gathering Points are another essential resource management element in Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest, primarily located within your Castle. These points allow you to collect various types of food, which serve multiple purposes. Food is primarily used to prepare meals at the Kitchen, a building within your Castle. These meals can provide temporary stat boosts to your units, heal them, or even grant experience points. The type and quality of food you can gather are influenced by the buildings in your Castle and their upgrade levels. For instance, a well-developed Farm can yield a greater variety and quantity of food items. Gathering Points regenerate over time, and like Mining Points, they have a limited number of uses before depletion. You can also acquire food through defeating certain enemies, participating in specific map events, or trading with other players via StreetPass. The variety of food items can range from common ingredients like Apples and Grapes to rarer items that offer more potent effects. When preparing meals at the Kitchen, you can combine different food items to create dishes that provide specific benefits.
