My Castle Resource Management
My Castle in Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest is your personal base of operations, and effective resource management within it is paramount to success. It's where you'll construct and upgrade various buildings that provide essential services and generate valuable resources. Key buildings include the Smithy, for weapon crafting and upgrades using ore from Mining Points; the Kitchen, for preparing meals with food from Gathering Points; and the Barracks, which can increase your unit capacity and potentially generate experience. The currency of My Castle is Gold, which is earned through battles, certain buildings, and selling items. Gold is used to purchase building materials, recruit new units through the Nohrian Shop or Hoshidan Shop (depending on your path), and acquire items. Building materials, such as Wood and Stone, are acquired through specific buildings or by visiting other players' Castles. These materials are necessary for constructing and upgrading all other buildings. The efficiency of your resource management directly impacts your army's strength. A well-equipped army with access to powerful weapons forged at the Smithy, temporary stat boosts from Kitchen meals, and ample healing capabilities will fare much better against the challenging maps of Conquest. Regularly visiting your Mining and Gathering Points to replenish your ore and food supplies is crucial. Furthermore, engaging with other players via StreetPass or online can provide access to unique shops and resources not otherwise available. Neglecting My Castle's development can leave your army under-equipped and vulnerable, making strategic planning and consistent upkeep essential for overcoming the game's formidable obstacles.
