Silas (Cavalier)
Silas, a childhood friend of Corrin and a loyal retainer of Nohr, is an indispensable early-game unit in Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest. His personal skill, "Loyalty," grants him a +4 bonus to Defense and Resistance when adjacent to Corrin. This skill makes him an excellent bodyguard for You character, allowing him to absorb hits and protect Corrin from enemy assaults. Silas begins as a Cavalier, a versatile mounted class that wields swords and lances. This allows him to engage a wide range of enemy types effectively, from heavily armored knights to agile sword users. His mobility as a mounted unit is a significant advantage, enabling him to quickly reposition, seize objectives, or flank enemy formations. As Silas progresses, he can promote into either a Paladin or a Great Knight. The Paladin path enhances his speed and movement, making him a swift offensive and defensive force.
