When two units achieve a certain support rank (C, B, A, or S for romantic relationships), they gain passive stat bonuses when positioned adjacent to each other on the battlefield. These bonuses are cumulative and increase with each support rank. For example, a C-rank support might grant +1 to Strength and Magic, while a B-rank support could increase this to +2 for both. An A-rank support typically provides a more substantial boost, often around +4 to two stats and +2 to two others. The exact bonuses vary depending on the characters involved, but the general principle remains consistent: higher support ranks yield greater stat increases.
