Paralogue 15: The Lost Princess (Mitama)

Paralogue 15, titled "The Lost Princess," is your gateway to recruiting Mitama, the daughter of Azama and a potential spouse. This paralogue becomes available after reaching Chapter 18 of Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest. The objective of this map is to defeat all enemy units. Mitama is found among the enemy ranks, and defeating her will initiate her recruitment sequence. The map often features several enemy types, including mages and clerics, which can make direct assaults challenging. It's advisable to have units with strong magical defenses or those capable of quickly closing the distance to engage vulnerable targets. Azama, if present and supporting Mitama, can engage in a unique pre-battle conversation that sheds light on their familial dynamic.

The terrain on the "The Lost Princess" map can be varied, with some areas potentially offering defensive bonuses or hindering movement. Pay close attention to enemy placement and potential choke points. Units with abilities like "Pass" can be invaluable for bypassing enemy formations to reach key targets. Mitama's personal skill, "Sleepyhead," grants her a 20% chance to fall asleep at the start of her turn, which can be both a boon and a bane. If she falls asleep, she is vulnerable, but if she remains awake, she can be a surprisingly potent offensive unit. Consider using units with high resistance to counter any magical threats she might pose if she awakens.

Once all enemies are vanquished, Mitama will join your army. Her base class is Shrine Maiden, and she boasts excellent Luck and Resistance growth rates. She can reclass into Priestess or Onmyoji, offering potent healing and offensive magic capabilities. The support conversation between Azama and Mitama, if available, provides a poant glimpse into their relationship and Mitama's personality. This paralogue tests your ability to adapt to different enemy types and manage the battlefield effectively, especially when dealing with potentially unpredictable enemy units.
