Paralogue 3: The Fore Prince (Shiro)

Paralogue 3, "The Fore Prince," is your opportunity to recruit Shiro, Ryoma's son, in Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest. This paralogue becomes available after Chapter 15. The map presents a challenging battlefield with a significant number of enemy units, including several powerful "Great Knights" and a contingent of enemy healers. The objective is to defeat all enemies. Shiro is located on the northern part of the map, defended by a few allied units. The Great Knights are the main threat, boasting high Defense and Strength, making them difficult to take down with physical attacks alone. They also possess the "Lancefaire" skill, boosting their lance damage. Enemy healers can prolong the battle and make it harder to secure a quick victory. Your strategy should focus on neutralizing the Great Knights first. Units with high Magic, such as Leo or Nyx, are ideal for this task, as they can exploit the Great Knights' lower Resistance. Alternatively, using powerful tomes like the "Bolting" tome can allow you to engage them from a safe distance. Once the Great Knights are dealt with, focus on eliminating the healers to prevent them from restoring enemy HP. Shiro starts as a Samurai, a class proficient with katanas and known for its high Skill and Speed. His personal skill, "Paternal Bond," grants him +2 to all stats when adjacent to his father, Ryoma. If Ryoma is not available or you wish to build Shiro independently, focus on boosting his Speed and Skill to ensure he can double attack and land critical hits. Clearing this paralogue requires careful unit placement and a strategic approach to dealing with heavily armored and healing units.
