Battalions are mercenary groups that provide stat bonuses and powerful Gambits. Always equip a battalion to every unit, as even low-level ones offer benefits. Pay attention to a battalion's 'Authority' requirement and its 'Endurance' (durability). Replenish battalion endurance at the Guild. Different battalions offer different Gambits, ranging from offensive area-of-effect attacks to defensive buffs or movement-altering abilities. Match battalions to your units' roles; for example, a high-might battalion for an attacker, or a defensive one for a tank. Leveling up battalions improves their stats.
