Recruitment & Support

Building strong relationships with your students and faculty is as vital as mastering combat. This section details the mechanics of recruitment, how to increase support levels between characters, and the benefits of fostering these bonds. Stronger supports lead to better combat performance and unlock unique story elements.

Recruiting characters from other houses is a key strategy for diversifying your army and accessing powerful units. To recruit a student from another house, you must meet certain stat requirements and achieve a C support level with them. For example, to recruit Ashe, you'll need a Dexterity stat of at least 15. Once recruited, they join your house and can participate in battles and activities. Support levels, represented by letter grades (C, B, A, A+), increase through various interactions: engaging in battle together, dining together, giving gifts, participating in tea parties, and engaging in conversations during exploration. Higher support levels unlock paired endings, unique dialogue, and stat bonuses when units fight near each other.
