Increasing Support Levels

Increasing Support Levels between characters is a key aspect of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, offering both narrative rewards and significant gameplay advantages. The primary method for increasing Support is through direct interaction. This includes engaging in conversations at the Camp, participating in Expeditions together, and fighting in close proximity on the battlefield. Each of these actions contributes to building the bond between characters.

During Expeditions, choosing a character to accompany you provides a direct boost to your Support Level with them. The more activities you complete together during an Expedition, the greater the increase. On the battlefield, characters who fight near each other gain small amounts of Support over time. This is particularly effective when using abilities like the "Guard" command to keep allies close or when coordinating attacks. Furthermore, giving gifts to characters can also slightly increase your Support Level with them. Gifts can be acquired through various means, including completing missions and purchasing them from vendors.

The most significant increases in Support Level come from completing Support Conversations. After reaching certain thresholds (C, B, A), a new conversation becomes available. Completing these conversations provides a substantial boost to the Support Level. For example, reaching Support Level B might unlock a conversation that pushes your relationship to a high B or even close to A. The highest level of support, S Rank, is typically reserved for romantic relationships and requires a specific item, the "Ring of the Goddess," to be initiated. Building support is crucial for unlocking powerful combat synergies. For instance, a high Support Level between two characters might allow them to perform a devastating dual attack, dealing massive damage to a single target. Prioritizing support growth for your core combat units will significantly enhance your army's overall effectiveness.
