Maximizing Renown Gain
Renown is a crucial resource in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, acting as a form of experience for your camp and unlocking various upgrades and facilities. Maximizing your Renown gain is essential for improving your overall capabilities and accessing powerful bonuses. The most consistent way to earn Renown is by completing missions. Each mission, regardless of its difficulty or path, awards a base amount of Renown upon completion. However, achieving an "S Rank" on a mission significantly boosts the Renown awarded, making it the most efficient method for rapid Renown accumulation. Focus on completing objectives quickly and efficiently to secure those S Ranks.
Beyond mission completion, several other activities contribute to your Renown total. Engaging in "Battles" at the camp, which are essentially skirmishes against waves of enemies, also grants Renown. These are repeatable and can be a good source of Renown when you're not actively progressing the main story. Furthermore, certain "Paralogues" and optional missions are specifically designed to reward large amounts of Renown, often in addition to unique items or character recruitment opportunities. Always check the mission select screen for any available Paralogues and prioritize them if Renown is your primary goal.
Interacting with your characters at the camp also yields Renown. Engaging in "Conversations" with your allies, especially after significant story events or when a character has a new dialogue option available, can grant small but consistent amounts of Renown. These conversations also build "Support Ranks," which indirectly benefit your Renown gain by improving combat effectiveness and unlocking new abilities. The "Shop" at the camp also offers opportunities to spend gold on items that can provide Renown bonuses, such as certain "Camp Facilities" that passively generate Renown over time or consumable items that grant a temporary Renown boost. Finally, remember that exploring the battlefield and looting "Supply Caches" or "Treasure Chests" can sometimes yield Renown items directly, so always keep an eye out for these hidden rewards. A proactive approach to all these Renown-generating activities will ensure your camp facilities are upgraded swiftly, providing a significant advantage throughout your campaign.
