Weapon Forging and Upgrades are crucial for maximizing your characters' combat effectiveness in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. By investing resources and materials, you can enhance the base stats of your weapons, unlock new abilities, and tailor them to your preferred playstyle. The process typically involves visiting the Blacksmith at your base camp, where you can select a weapon to improve. Each upgrade tier will require specific materials, often found by defeating enemies on the battlefield or through various camp activities. Understanding the material requirements for each upgrade path is key to efficiently strengthening your arsenal. For instance, upgrading a basic Sword might require Iron Ore and a few common crafting components, while a more advanced weapon like a Brave Sword could demand rarer materials such as Steel Ingots and perhaps even a specific monster part dropped by a powerful foe.
Beyond simple stat boosts, weapon upgrades can also unlock special effects or increase the weapon's rank, leading to more significant improvements. The effectiveness of your chosen weapon is directly tied to its upgrade level.
