Golden Freddy is a rare but deadly animatronic that can appear on Night 3. He has two primary appearances:

  • In the Office: He will appear slumped in your office chair. If you see him, immediately put on the Freddy Fazbear Head. Keep it on until he disappears. If you hesitate, he will jump scare you.
  • In the Main Hallway: He can also appear as a giant floating head in the main hallway. If you see this, quickly flash your flashlight at him until he vanishes. Do not put on the mask in this scenario, as it will not deter him and will leave you vulnerable to other animatronics.
The key to Golden Freddy is immediate recognition and reaction. He is often triggered by looking at a specific camera (CAM 07) when he is active, but he can also appear randomly. Always be prepared for his sudden appearance and react accordingly.
