He often utilizes the ventilation system to get closer to your office. His attacks are direct and can be devastating if you are not prepared. The key to surviving Scraptrap is to manage his proximity and utilize the available defensive measures.
Strategy for Scraptrap (Afton):
- Monitor Scraptrap's Location: Keep a constant watch on Scraptrap's position using the security cameras. His movement is key to predicting his approach.
- Listen for His Sounds: Scraptrap's distinctive wheezing breath and footsteps are your primary indicators of his presence.
- Ventilation System Management: Scraptrap frequently uses the ventilation shafts to advance. You must use the audio lure to redirect him away from your office's vents.
- Use the Audio Lure Effectively: When Scraptrap enters a vent, play the audio cue to draw him to a different, safer vent. This is your main tool for controlling his path.
- Seal Vents as a Last Resort: If Scraptrap is in a vent directly connected to your office, you can seal it. However, this consumes power, so use this option cautiously.
- Don't Let Him Reach Your Office: The closer Scraptrap gets to your office, the higher the risk. React quickly to divert him.
