Withered Foxy's primary threat lies in his speed and his tendency to rush directly from Pirate Cove. He doesn't follow the same predictable pathing as the other Withered animatronics. Instead, he will sprint down the hallway towards your office. The only way to slow him down is by frequently checking on him in Pirate Cove. If you neglect to do so, he will eventually break out and make a beeline for you.
Strategy for Withered Foxy:
- Constant Vigilance: The most crucial aspect of surviving Withered Foxy is to constantly monitor Pirate Cove. Keep the curtain closed as much as possible by checking the camera feed for Pirate Cove regularly.
- Listen for the Sounds: When Foxy is on the move, you'll often hear the clanking of his hook and his distinctive footsteps. This is your cue to prepare.
- The Door is Your Only Hope: If Foxy reaches your office, your only defense is to quickly slam the left door shut. He will bang on the door, and you must hold it until he retreats. This can be a tense and prolonged struggle.
- Don't Shine the Light Too Early: Shining your flashlight down the hallway when Foxy is approaching can sometimes agitate him and make him move faster. Wait until he is very close before attempting to use the door.
- Power Management: Withered Foxy's attacks can drain your power sificantly, especially if you have to hold the door for extended periods. Be mindful of your power levels throughout the night.
