Surviving 4/20 Mode (all animatronics at AI Level 20) requires a highly specific and disciplined strategy. It's less about improvisation and more about executing a perfect, rapid cycle.
The Core Loop:
- Check CAM 1C (Foxy): Immediately raise monitor, click CAM 1C, check Foxy's status. If he's gone, lower monitor and close left door. If he's present, lower monitor. This should take ~1 second.
- Check Left Door Light: Flick the left light. If Bonnie is there (heavy breathing), close the door. Open immediately if clear or after he leaves. This should take ~0.5 seconds.
- Check Right Door Light: Flick the right light. If Chica or Freddy is there (heavy breathing/visible), close the door. Open immediately if clear or after they leave. This should take ~0.5 seconds.
- Check CAM 4A/4B (Freddy): Immediately raise monitor, click CAM 4A or CAM 4B (whichever Freddy is likely on based on his last laugh). If he's there, lower monitor. If not, quickly check the other. This should take ~1 second.
- Repeat: This entire cycle should take no more than 3-4 seconds.
This relentless cycle, combined with perfect audio cue reactions and minimal door closure time, is the only way to survive 4/20 Mode. It requires immense practice and muscle memory.
