Creating effective car builds depends heavily on the event type. Here are some general guidelines:

Road Races (Circuit/Sprint):
- Focus: Grip, acceleration, high-speed stability.
- Upgrades: Race tires, race suspension, race brakes, weight reduction, engine power, aerodynamic parts (spoilers).
- Tuning: Stiffer suspension, balanced aero, differential tuned for traction.
Dirt Races & Cross Country:
- Focus: Off-road grip, suspension travel, durability, acceleration.
- Upgrades: Off-road tires, rally suspension, AWD conversion (if RWD), engine power, roll cage for stiffness.
- Tuning: Softer suspension, higher ride height, differential tuned for off-road traction.
Street Races:
- Focus: Acceleration, agility, braking, stealth (no aero).
- Upgrades: Sport or race tires, sport/race suspension, engine power, weight reduction. Avoid large aero if you want to maintain a 'sleeper' look.
- Tuning: Balanced for city cornering, good braking.
Drift Zones:
- Focus: Oversteer, sustained slides, angle.
- Upgrades: Sport/drift tires (often narrower rear tires), drift suspension, powerful engine, RWD conversion (if FWD/AWD).
- Tuning: Soft rear springs, stiff front springs, high differential lock, negative camber, increased steering angle.
Always test your builds in a few races before committing to them. What works for one driver might not work for another, so personalize your approach.
