Key Difficulty Options:

  • Drivatar Difficulty: Controls how challenging AI opponents are. Options range from 'New Racer' to 'Unbeatable'. Start with a comfortable level and increase it as you improve.
  • Rewind: Allows you to undo mistakes. Highly recommended for new players.
  • Damage & Tire Wear: Options include 'None', 'Cosmetic', and 'Simulation'. Simulation damage can significantly impact car performance.
  • Traction Control (TCS): Helps prevent wheelspin.
  • Stability Control (STM): Helps prevent loss of control.
  • ABS (Anti-lock Braking System): Prevents wheels from locking up during heavy braking.
  • Driving Line: Shows optimal racing line and braking points.
  • Shifting: Choose between 'Automatic', 'Manual', or 'Manual with Clutch'. Manual shifting offers more control and potential speed but requires practice.

Experiment with different combinations to find what works best for you. Turning off assists and increasing Drivatar difficulty will yield higher credit bonuses after races, but only do so when you're confident in your driving abilities.
