Joining & Creating Convoys

Convoys are the backbone of social play in Forza Horizon 6, allowing you to team up with friends and other players to explore the vast Japanese landscape together. Whether you're planning a dedicated session to tackle specific races, hunt for collectibles, or simply cruise and enjoy the scenery, forming a convoy makes the experience more engaging and rewarding. You can invite players from your friends list or even recruit fellow drivers you encounter in the open world.

To create a convoy, navigate to the "Online" tab in the pause menu and select "Convoys." From there, you'll have the option to "Create Convoy." Once your convoy is established, you can invite friends directly. If you're looking to team up with players you've just met, you can also select "Invite Nearby Players" to see who else is in your vicinity and open to joining. As the convoy leader, you have the ability to set the convoy's destination, which will then appear on the map for all members, making it easy to navigate to your chosen activity. This is incredibly useful for organizing group races or heading to specific points of interest.

Joining an existing convoy is just as simple. If a friend has invited you, you'll receive a notification. Alternatively, you can browse available convoys from the "Online" menu. When joining a convoy, you'll be able to see the leader's chosen destination and can choose to follow along. The game will automatically adjust the difficulty of certain events to accommodate the convoy, ensuring a balanced challenge for everyone. Within a convoy, you can also engage in friendly races against each other or participate in open-world activities as a united front. Remember that the convoy leader has control over the convoy's activities, so communication is key to ensuring everyone is on the same page and enjoying the experience.
