Sharing & Downloading Custom Tunes
Forza Horizon 6 continues the series' tradition of robust car customization, extending beyond visual flair to encompass performance tuning. The ability to share and download custom tunes created by the community is a cornerstone of this feature, allowing players to benefit from the collective expertise of the Horizon Festival.
Once you've spent hours meticulously adjusting your car's suspension, gearing, differential, and more, you can save your creation as a custom tune. This tune is then uploaded to the Forza Horizon 6 servers, making it accessible to other players worldwide. To share your tune, navigate to the Tuning Setup menu in your garage, select the tune you wish to share, and choose the "Share Tune" option. You can add a description and relevant tags to help others find your masterpiece.
Conversely, if you're struggling to get a particular car to handle its best, or if you simply want to try a new setup for a specific event, the Tune Browser is your go-to destination. Here, you can search for tunes based on car model, class, event type, or even by searching for specific creators. You can filter by popularity, rating, or download count to find highly regarded tunes.
When you find a tune you want to try, simply select it and choose "Download Tune." The game will then automatically apply the downloaded tune to your selected car. you can only download tunes for cars you own. Furthermore, some advanced tunes might require specific performance upgrades to be installed on your car, so always check the tune's requirements before downloading.
This feature is invaluable for discovering optimal setups for the vast array of over 550 cars available at launch. Whether you're tackling a challenging Horizon Rush event or aiming for the top of the leaderboards in a standard race, a well-crafted tune can make all the difference. Don't hesitate to experiment with downloaded tunes and then tweak them further to perfectly match your driving style.
