The sprawling open world of Forza Horizon on Xbox 360 is packed with hidden treasures, and none are more sought after than the elusive Barn Finds. These forgotten classic cars are scattered across the map, waiting to be discovered and restored to their former glory. Finding them all is a significant undertaking, but with the right approach, you can systematically uncover every single one.

Locating Barn Finds

Barn Finds are not marked on your map by default. You'll need to either stumble upon them through exploration or acquire hints. Hints can be purchased using your hard-earned Credits. While not strictly necessary, a hint will place a general area on your map where a Barn Find is located, significantly narrowing down your search. Keep an eye on your minimap for a distinctive barn icon that appears when you are close to a potential find.

The Search Strategy

The most effective way to find Barn Finds is to systematically explore the map. Divide the map into sections and drive through each one thoroughly. Pay close attention to dirt roads and less-traveled paths, as many Barn Finds are hidden away from the main highways. Look for dilapidated barns, often overgrown with vegetation. The icon will appear on your minimap as a small barn symbol when you are within range.

Common Hiding Spots

  • Rural Areas: Most Barn Finds are located in the countryside, away from the main towns and cities.
  • Dirt Roads and Trails: Many are tucked away down unpaved paths, often requiring a bit of off-road driving.
  • Abandoned Farms and Estates: Look for clusters of old buildings and outhouses.
  • Forest Edges: Some are hidden amongst trees on the outskirts of wooded areas.

Restoring Your Finds

Once you locate a Barn Find, it will be added to your garage as a wreck. You'll then need to take it to the Horizon Festival garage for restoration. This process costs Credits, and the more rare or damaged the car, the higher the restoration cost will be. However, the reward of driving a classic, restored vehicle is well worth the investment.
