The final phase is the most challenging. The Flagship gains a Zoltan Shield (a super shield that must be depleted before regular shields), a Mind Control system, and a Power Surge ability that fires a massive volley of lasers. Your priority is to break the Zoltan Shield, then disable Mind Control and the main Weapons. If you have a Hacking system, hacking the Shields or Piloting can be incredibly effective. Use Cloaking to dodge the Power Surge.
- Target Priority: Zoltan Shield > Mind Control > Weapons > Shields.
- Defense: Cloaking is almost essential for dodging Power Surges.
- Offense: High burst damage or hacking for shields.
- Special: Mind Control can turn your crew against you; use your Medbay or your own Mind Control to counter.
