Team Building Fundamentals

Building an effective team in Genshin Impact involves selecting characters whose elemental abilities complement each other, allowing for powerful elemental reactions and versatile combat strategies. A well-balanced team can tackle challenging boss fights and quests, such as the "Time and the Wind" quest, by leveraging elemental synergies and character roles.

"Time and the Wind" Quest Strategy

The "Time and the Wind" quest features a challenging Lv. 40 Eye of the Storm boss, which also summons additional creatures. To prepare for this fight, bring plenty of healing and revival foods. Having multiple strong archers is recommended, especially if their elements can work off one another.

Quest Steps:

Travel to the secret island located east of Starfell Lake. You will need a character with Cryo abilities to create an ice bridge.
On the island, break a rock and read the Ragged Notebook.
Change the in-game time to 2 a.m. and use Elemental Sight on the Sundial. This will reveal a Cluster of Wind. Use an Anemo skill to destroy it.
Locate and destroy the other Clusters of Wind. They are found to the southwest, east, and on top of the tallest pillar. If the time passes 5 a.m., the Clusters of Wind will disappear; reset the time to 2 a.m.
Use an Anemo skill on the wind in the center of the ruins to summon a Lv. 37 Eye of the Storm.
When the Eye of the Storm reaches about 20% health, it will fly away. Chase it using the gust of wind and boost rings, landing south of the Thousand Winds Temple.
Change the time to 2 a.m. again. Destroy the Clusters of Wind on the pedestals around the compass. Each destroyed cluster will summon two small Lv. 37 wind slimes.
After destroying the third cluster, the Eye of the Storm will reappear at Lv. 40 with additional adds.
Defeat the Eye of the Storm and its adds.
Speak with Henry Morton nearby to complete the quest.
