Quest: The Secret of Yunlai Stone Forest

Discover the uninhabited island off the coast of the starting area in Genshin Impact to begin the "Time and the Wind" quest. This challenging quest, recommended for players with a party level of 40, involves an enigmatic sundial and offers valuable rewards upon completion.

The Genshin Impact Secret Island, though not appearing on the in-game map, holds a questline, treasure chests, and a challenging fight. Before venturing to the island, ensure your party is at least Level 40 to handle the encounters.

Upon reaching the island, you will find a sundial marked with references to Wind and Light. Interacting with this sundial initiates the quest "Time and the Wind."

To progress in the quest, locate a shovel piled against rocks on the south side of the island, near where a Ruin Guard was. Destroy this rock pile to uncover and read the Ragged Notebook found underneath.

Completing "Time and the Wind" yields the following rewards:

  • 4x Hero's Wit
  • 6x Mystic Enhancement Ore
  • 60,000x Mora
