Acquiring & Maintaining Gear
  1. Quest Rewards: Early quests often provide basic gear.
  2. Looting Enemies: Defeated enemies (NPCs and players) can drop weapons, armor, and crafting materials.
  3. Crafting: The most reliable way to get high-quality gear. Level up your crafting professions and gather materials to create powerful items.
  4. Vendors: NPCs in cities sell basic gear, tools, and some crafting materials.
  5. Auction House: Buy and sell items from other players. This is the primary player-driven economy.
  6. Faction War Rewards: Participating in sieges and PvP events can reward you with unique or high-tier gear.

Maintenance: All gear has durability. As you use weapons and take damage in armor, their durability decreases. When durability reaches zero, the item breaks and becomes unusable until repaired. Visit a Blacksmith (for metal items) or Armorer (for leather/cloth items) in any major settlement to repair your gear. You can also use Repair Kits in the field for emergency repairs.
