Optimizing Travel & Logistics

Movement across the vast world of Gloria Victis can be time-consuming. Strategic planning is key.

Mount Management: Always prioritize having a reliable mount. Invest in a Warhorse as soon as possible. Keep it well-fed with Oats or Barley (farmed or purchased from Farmers in your capital city's market square) to maintain its stamina and speed.
Fast Travel Points: Unlock all available Teleportation Stones and Caravan Master routes. These are invaluable for quick transitions between distant zones. Prioritize unlocking those near high-traffic resource nodes or quest hubs.
Inventory Management: Before heading out, plan your inventory. Use Small Backpacks or Large Backpacks to increase carry weight. Consider using a Portable Workbench if you anticipate crafting on the go, or a Portable Smelter for immediate ore processing. Avoid over-encumbrance at all costs, as it severely reduces your movement speed.
