Vehicle missions are a great way to earn money and practice your driving skills. Each type of emergency vehicle offers a unique set of missions. To start a vehicle mission, simply enter the corresponding vehicle and press the indicated button (usually R3/Caps Lock). Completing these missions can also unlock permanent bonuses, such as increased health or armor.
Taxi Driver:
- How to Start: Enter a Taxi or Cabbie.
- Objective: Pick up passengers and drop them off at their destinations within a time limit.
- Rewards: Money per fare. Completing 100 fares unlocks the Borgnine taxi at the Portland docks.
- Tips: Learn the fastest routes, avoid traffic, and be mindful of passenger patience.
Vigilante:
- How to Start: Enter a Police Car, Enforcer, or FBI Car.
- Objective: Hunt down and eliminate criminals marked on your mini-map.
- Rewards: Money per criminal. Completing 20 levels (cumulative across all islands) grants you a permanent armor bonus.
- Tips: Use the police siren to clear traffic. Prioritize armed criminals. Stock up on ammo before starting.
Paramedic:
- How to Start: Enter an Ambulance.
- Objective: Pick up injured citizens and transport them to the hospital within a time limit.
- Rewards: Money per patient. Completing Level 12 unlocks infinite sprint.
- Tips: Drive carefully to avoid further injuring patients. The ambulance is durable but slow.
Firefighter:
- How to Start: Enter a Fire Truck.
- Objective: Drive to burning vehicles or buildings and extinguish the fires using the water cannon.
- Rewards: Money per fire extinguished. Completing all levels on an island makes Claude fireproof.
- Tips: The fire truck is large and slow, so plan your routes. Aim the water cannon carefully.
