- Vehicle Missions (Vigilante, Paramedic, Firefighter, Taxi): These are by far the most consistent and lucrative ways to earn money outside of main missions. Completing higher levels of these missions yields significantly more cash. Prioritize them early on.
- Car Jacking & Selling: Steal high-end vehicles (like sports cars) and take them to the crane at the Portland Docks (after unlocking it through story missions) or the import/export garages for a quick profit.
- Rampages: These timed challenges (skull icons) reward you with cash for eliminating a certain number of gang members or destroying vehicles within a time limit. They can be challenging but offer good payouts.
- Destroying Parked Cars: While not a huge earner, destroying parked cars can sometimes yield small amounts of cash.
- Collecting Hidden Packages: While the primary reward is weapon spawns, the act of exploring for them often leads to discovering other cash pickups.
- Replaying Missions: If you're really struggling for cash, you can replay certain missions, though the rewards are usually lower than the first time.
Focus on completing the vehicle missions, especially Vigilante and Paramedic, as they not only provide cash but also unlock permanent bonuses that make the game easier. A steady income stream means you can always afford the best weapons and armor.
