Melee Weapons:

  • Fist: Niko's default weapon. Good for stealth takedowns or when unarmed.
  • Baseball Bat: Higher damage than fists, found in various locations.
  • Knife: Quick attacks, good for stealth kills.

Melee combat involves punching (Left Mouse Button), blocking (Right Mouse Button), and kicking (F key). Mastering blocking and counter-attacks can make melee surprisingly viable.

Explosives:

  • Grenade: Thrown weapon with a small blast radius. Good for flushing out enemies from cover.
  • Molotov Cocktail: Creates a patch of fire, effective for area denial and damaging multiple enemies.
  • Sticky Bomb: Can be thrown and detonated remotely. Excellent for ambushes and destroying vehicles.
  • Rocket Launcher: High damage, large blast radius. Best for destroying vehicles, helicopters, or groups of enemies.

Where to Buy:

Melee weapons are often found in the environment or dropped by enemies. Explosives can be purchased from Ammu-Nation. Sticky Bombs are unlocked later in the game and are particularly useful.

Tips:

  • Use Molotovs to block enemy paths or clear tight spaces.
  • Sticky Bombs are invaluable for setting traps or quickly destroying mission-critical vehicles.
  • Save the Rocket Launcher for heavily armored targets or large groups.
