Vigilante missions allow Niko to act as a self-appointed law enforcer, tracking down and eliminating criminals across Liberty City. These missions are a great way to earn extra cash and gain combat experience.
How to Start:
To begin Vigilante missions, enter any police vehicle (e.g., Police Cruiser, Enforcer, FIB Buffalo). Once inside, press the 'E' key (PC) or the corresponding action button on your console to access the police computer. Select 'View Current Crimes' to see a list of active criminal activities.
Gameplay:
Choose a crime from the list, and a GPS route will appear on your minimap, leading you to the suspects. Your objective is to eliminate the criminals. Be prepared for shootouts and car chases. The difficulty and number of criminals increase as you complete more missions. Successfully completing a set number of Vigilante missions can unlock achievements.
Tips:
- Always have a good supply of ammo and body armor before starting.
- Use the police car's siren (G key on PC) to clear traffic during chases.
- Prioritize taking out armed suspects first.
- If your police vehicle is too damaged, find another one to continue the mission.
