Liberty City Stories features a diverse arsenal of weapons, categorized by type. Each weapon has its strengths and weaknesses, making some more suitable for certain situations than others. Weapons can be purchased from Ammu-Nation stores, found as pickups around the city, or dropped by defeated enemies.

Weapon Categories:
- Melee Weapons:
- Fist: Toni's default weapon.
- Brass Knuckles: Increased melee damage.
- Baseball Bat: Good range and damage.
- Katana: High damage, fast swings.
- Chainsaw: Devastating at close range, but slow.
- Pistols:
- 9mm Pistol: Standard handgun, decent accuracy.
- Colt .45: More powerful than the 9mm.
- Shotguns:
- Shotgun: Powerful at close range, wide spread.
- Spaz 12: Automatic shotgun, high rate of fire.
- Submachine Guns (SMGs):
- Micro SMG: Good for drive-bys, decent accuracy.
- MP5: Higher damage and accuracy than Micro SMG.
- Assault Rifles:
- AK-47: Reliable, good for medium range.
- M4: High accuracy and damage, excellent for sustained fire.
- Heavy Weapons:
- Flamethrower: Incinerates enemies and vehicles.
- Rocket Launcher: Destroys vehicles and groups of enemies with explosive force.
- Minigun: Extremely high rate of fire, devastating but rare.
- Thrown Weapons:
- Grenades: Explosive, good for groups or vehicles.
- Molotov Cocktails: Sets areas on fire, effective against groups.
- Remote Grenades: Can be detonated manually.
- Sniper Rifles:
- Sniper Rifle: Long-range precision weapon.
Always keep an eye on your ammunition count. Running out of ammo in a firefight can be fatal. Stock up at Ammu-Nation whenever possible, especially on ammo for your preferred weapons.
