Beyond the main storyline, Liberty City is brimming with opportunities to earn extra cash, unlock bonuses, and truly immerse yourself in the criminal underworld. These side missions range from straightforward deliveries to intense combat challenges. Mastering them is key to 100% completion and building up Toni Cipriani's reputation.

Car Salesman Missions (Love Media)

Location: Harwood, Portland. Look for the red marker inside the Love Media building's showroom.

Requirements: Available after completing the mission "Frighteners" for Donald Love.

Overview: As a car salesman, your goal is to sell vehicles to prospective buyers. Each sale involves a test drive where you must impress the customer by driving recklessly and avoiding damage. The more damage the car takes, the less money you'll earn. There are four levels, each requiring you to sell a certain number of cars.

• Strategy:
  • Vehicle Choice: The game provides a selection of cars. Generally, choose a faster, more durable vehicle if available.
  • Driving Style: Focus on high speeds, sharp turns, and near-misses. Avoid hitting other vehicles or objects, as this reduces the customer's satisfaction and your potential earnings.
  • Damage Control: If the car takes significant damage, the customer might refuse to buy it. If this happens, quickly find another car in the showroom and try again.
  • Earning Potential: Each successful sale nets you a decent sum, increasing with each level.
• Rewards:
  • Completing all levels unlocks the ability to purchase cars from the showroom at a discount.
  • Significant cash rewards for each successful sale.

Trashmaster Missions (Trash Dash)

Location: Portland View, Portland. Find the Trashmaster parked near the docks, marked by a trash can icon on your radar.

Requirements: Available from the start of the game.

Overview: Toni takes on the role of a garbage collector, picking up trash bins around Portland. You have a time limit to collect all the designated bins and return to the depot. The mission has multiple levels, with increasing numbers of bins and tighter time limits.

• Strategy:
  • Route Planning: Before starting, quickly glance at your map to plan an efficient route. Grouping nearby bins together will save precious seconds.
  • Driving: The Trashmaster is slow and cumbersome. Take wide turns and avoid collisions that can flip the vehicle or slow you down.
  • Time Management: Don't linger. Once a bin is collected, immediately head to the next.
  • Vehicle Condition: The Trashmaster can take a fair amount of abuse, but excessive damage will eventually lead to it exploding, failing the mission.
• Rewards:
  • Completing all levels increases your maximum health.
  • Cash rewards for each completed level.

Avenging Angels Missions

Location: Various locations across Liberty City, marked by a halo icon. These missions often appear in specific districts after certain story progress.

Requirements: Varies by location, generally available after unlocking the respective islands.

Overview: Join the "Avenging Angels" vigilante group and protect innocent citizens from gang attacks. You'll need to drive to a highlighted area and eliminate all hostile gang members before they kill the civilians. The number of civilians and enemies increases with each level.

• Strategy:
  • Weaponry: Always come prepared with a good assault rifle (e.g., AK-47, M4) and body armor. Shotguns are also effective in close quarters.
  • Prioritize Threats: Focus fire on enemies directly engaging civilians first.
  • Cover: Use environmental cover to your advantage, especially when facing multiple enemies.
  • Vehicle Usage: Sometimes, driving into the group of enemies can thin their numbers quickly, but be careful not to hit the civilians.
  • Health Pickups: Keep an eye out for health pickups in the mission area if you take damage.
• Rewards:
  • Completing all levels unlocks a permanent "Avenging Angels" outfit in your safehouse wardrobe.
  • Cash rewards for each successful mission.

Paramedic Missions

Location: Any hospital in Liberty City. Enter an Ambulance to begin.

Requirements: Available from the start of the game.

Overview: As a paramedic, you must pick up injured citizens and transport them to the hospital within a strict time limit. The challenge increases with each level, requiring you to rescue more patients from various locations across the city.

• Strategy:
  • Patient Order: The game will highlight patients on your radar. Plan your route to pick up patients efficiently, often starting with the furthest and working your way back towards the hospital.
  • Careful Driving: While speed is crucial, reckless driving can damage the ambulance, and more importantly, harm your patients, reducing your reward or even failing the mission.
  • Sirens: Use the siren (horn button) to clear traffic, but be aware that pedestrians might panic and run into your path.
  • Vehicle Durability: The Ambulance is fairly robust, but repeated collisions will eventually destroy it.
• Rewards:
  • Completing Level 12 grants Toni infinite sprint.
  • Cash rewards for each patient delivered and for completing levels.
