As a vigilante, you'll take on the role of a law enforcer, tracking down and eliminating criminals across Liberty City. These missions are initiated by entering a police vehicle (Cop Car, Enforcer, FBI Car, Rhino) and pressing the L and R buttons simultaneously. Completing consecutive levels of Vigilante missions will earn you increasing cash rewards and eventually unlock permanent bonuses.
How to Play:
- Acquire a Police Vehicle: Steal a police car, or find one parked.
- Activate Mission: Press L + R buttons.
- Chase and Eliminate Criminals: Your radar will show red dots indicating the location of criminals. Drive to their location and eliminate them. Be careful not to get a wanted level yourself, or if you do, manage it effectively.
- Complete Levels: Each level requires you to eliminate a certain number of criminals. The difficulty and number of targets increase with each level.
Rewards:
- Cash: Earn money for each criminal eliminated and a bonus for completing levels.
- Permanent Armor Bonus: Completing Level 12 of Vigilante missions will grant Toni a permanent increase to his maximum armor capacity, making him significantly more durable in combat. This is a highly recommended bonus to acquire early on.
Vigilante missions are an excellent way to earn money and improve your combat and driving skills. They can be challenging, especially at higher levels, so ensure you have good weapons and armor before attempting them.
