Unique Stunt Jumps: Leap to Glory
Liberty City features 26 Unique Stunt Jumps, daring ramps and natural inclines that, when hit at speed, send your vehicle soaring. Successfully completing these jumps earns you cash and contributes to your overall game completion. Each jump has specific requirements for success, usually involving speed, trajectory, and landing cleanly.
- Locations: These jumps are distributed across all three islands. Look for ramps, broken bridges, or elevated sections of road that seem to lead nowhere.
- Tips for Success:
- Vehicle Choice: A fast, durable vehicle like a Banshee, Cheetah, or even a well-maintained Patriot is ideal.
- Approach: Always approach a jump with maximum speed and a straight line. Minor steering adjustments mid-air can sometimes help with landing.
- Landing: Aim to land on all four wheels to register a successful jump. Landing on your roof or side will often fail the attempt.
- Practice: Some jumps are notoriously difficult. Don't be afraid to try multiple times and experiment with different vehicles or approach angles.
Rampages: Unleash Mayhem for Rewards
Rampages are timed challenges marked by a skull icon, where you must eliminate a certain number of gang members or destroy a specific number of vehicles using a given weapon. There are 20 Rampages in total, offering significant cash rewards upon completion.
- Weapon Variety: Rampages force you to master different weapon types, from shotguns and SMGs to flamethrowers and rocket launchers.
- Strategic Approach:
- Know Your Weapon: Understand the range and power of the assigned weapon.
- Target Prioritization: Focus on groups of enemies or easily accessible vehicles.
- Cover: Utilize environmental cover to avoid taking too much damage, especially during more challenging rampages.
- Vehicle Use: For vehicle destruction rampages, sometimes using your own vehicle to ram targets before exiting and using the assigned weapon can be effective.
- Respawn Points: If you fail a rampage, the icon will reappear shortly, allowing you to try again.
