Los Sepulcros

This mission sees CJ and Sweet attending a funeral, which, as expected in Grove Street Families territory, quickly devolves into a chaotic shootout. Be prepared for intense combat and strategic maneuvering.

Preparation & Loadout

  • Weapons: Before starting, ensure you have a good supply of ammunition for your preferred weapons. The Micro SMG is highly effective for close-quarters combat, and a Shotgun can be devastating against multiple enemies.
  • Armor: If possible, grab some Body Armor. There's a set available under the overpass near the Grove Street cul-de-sac, or you can purchase it from an Ammu-Nation. This will significantly increase your survivability.
  • Health: Stock up on some Sprunk or visit a fast-food joint to top off your health before heading to the mission marker.

The Funeral & Initial Ambush

  1. Meet Sweet: Head to the mission marker, which is Sweet's house in Grove Street. A cutscene will play, showing CJ and Sweet heading to the funeral.
  2. Arrival at the Cemetery: Once at the cemetery, another cutscene will trigger, depicting the funeral service.
  3. The Attack: Immediately after the cutscene, Ballas gang members will ambush the funeral. You'll be positioned near a headstone.
  4. Initial Engagement: Take cover behind the large headstone directly in front of you. Use your Micro SMG to take down the first wave of Ballas who approach from the front. Prioritize headshots for quicker eliminations.
  5. Flank Protection: Keep an eye on your minimap. More Ballas will attempt to flank you from the left and right. Quickly switch targets to prevent them from getting too close.

Escorting Sweet & The Getaway

  1. Sweet's Orders: After clearing the initial wave, Sweet will instruct you to follow him. Stay close to him, as he's a primary target.
  2. Navigating the Cemetery: As you move through the cemetery, more Ballas will appear from behind tombstones and around corners. Use the environment for cover. The numerous headstones and mausoleums provide excellent tactical positions.
  3. Targeting Priorities: Focus on enemies who are directly threatening Sweet or those with clear lines of sight to you. Don't be afraid to use your Shotgun if multiple enemies are grouped together.
  4. Reaching the Car: Your objective is to reach the getaway vehicle parked at the cemetery entrance. Continue to clear the path, ensuring Sweet remains safe.
  5. Entering the Vehicle: Once you reach the car, a brief cutscene will play as you and Sweet get in.

The Chase & Escape

  1. Driving Sweet: You'll now be driving Sweet. The Ballas will pursue you in several vehicles.
  2. Evasive Maneuvers: Your primary goal is to lose the pursuing Ballas. Drive aggressively but carefully. use sharp turns, alleyways, and even jump ramps if available to create distance.
  3. Sweet's Assistance: Sweet will be firing at the pursuing vehicles from the passenger seat. While his aim isn't perfect, he can help thin out the numbers.
  4. Minimap Awareness: Pay close attention to your minimap to track the location of the enemy vehicles. Try to put obstacles between yourself and them.
  5. Returning to Grove Street: Once you've lost the Ballas, head back to Grove Street. The mission will conclude once you arrive at Sweet's house.

Tips for Success

  • Cover is Key: Always use cover during firefights. Standing in the open is a quick way to get wasted.
  • Headshots: Aim for headshots to conserve ammo and take down enemies faster.
  • Minimap Awareness: Constantly check your minimap to anticipate enemy positions and flanking attempts.
  • Sweet's Health: While Sweet is generally resilient, try to keep him out of direct harm's way during the cemetery shootout.
  • Vehicle Damage: During the chase, try to avoid taking too much damage to your car. If it starts smoking, find a Pay 'n' Spray if possible, though it's often quicker to just outrun the pursuers.
