San Andreas is littered with various collectibles that, when found, unlock rewards and contribute to 100% game completion. There are four main types:
- Graffiti Tags (Los Santos): 100 tags to spray over. Rewards include weapon spawns at the Johnson House and increased respect.
- Horseshoes (Las Venturas): 50 horseshoes to collect. Rewards include increased luck and weapon spawns at the Four Dragons Casino.
- Oysters (Across San Andreas): 50 oysters hidden underwater. Rewards include increased lung capacity, sex appeal, and the ability to date all girlfriends simultaneously without negative consequences.
- Snapshots (San Fierro): 50 unique photo opportunities. Rewards include weapon spawns at the Doherty garage.
Each collectible type requires specific actions: spraying tags with a spray can, simply walking over horseshoes and oysters, and taking a photo of specific landmarks with a camera for snapshots. Using online maps or guides is highly recommended for finding all of them, as many are cleverly hidden. Collecting all of them is a significant undertaking but offers substantial benefits to CJ's abilities and resources.
