GTA V features three protagonists: Michael, Franklin, and Trevor. You can switch between them almost at any time outside of missions. Each character has a unique special ability:
- Michael: Slows down time during gunfights, allowing for precise shots.
- Franklin: Slows down time while driving, making high-speed maneuvers easier.
- Trevor: Enters a rage mode, taking less damage and dealing more.
To switch characters, hold down the character switch button (Down D-Pad on console, Alt on PC) and select your desired character from the wheel. Using their special abilities strategically is key to overcoming difficult situations.
