Armor can be purchased from Ammu-Nation stores, found as pickups around the city, or obtained by completing Vigilante missions (which increase your maximum armor capacity). There are different tiers of armor, with higher tiers offering more protection. Always try to have full armor before starting any major mission or engaging in a large-scale shootout.
